Services, Fees and Locations

I offer counselling in person in South Woodford (George Lane, E18) and at the Cherry Tree Therapy Centre (Buckhurst Hill), as well as online via Zoom. In 2026, I’ll be expanding to include Wimpole Street, London for in-person sessions.

We start with a brief, no pressure connection call so you can get a feel for me and tell me what you’re hoping for from therapy. If it feels right, we book an assessment session to understand your story, what’s most pressing now, and what support will be most helpful. From there, we meet regularly, usually weekly, and review as we go, ensuring the work we do together is meeting your needs.

Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at first. Some people move to fortnightly once they’re feeling steadier; others prefer to stay weekly. We can work time limited (e.g. 6 – 12 sessions) or open ended, the choice is always yours.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the purpose of the assessment session?
It’s a gentle, structured first meeting where we get clear on what you want support with, your history, current context (home, work, health, relationships), and what you’d like to be different. You’ll experience how I work, and we’ll agree a focus and a schedule that feels manageable.
Most people benefit from weekly sessions to build safety and momentum. We’ll review regularly and can shift to fortnightly or pause when it makes sense.
It varies. Some people come for a focused block of 6 to12 sessions; others prefer open-ended work. We’ll talk about what feels right for you and keep checking in.

I’m an integrative counsellor and coach (and a qualified grief coach). That means we can do depth work and use practical tools when helpful – our work is always tailored to you.
Absolutely not. While counselling is helpful when you are in the midst of a challenging situation, it can also be helpful to come regularly. This helps unearth deeper or longstanding patterns that need attending to often creating meaningful shifts in thoughts and behaviour.

Yes. Everything you share stays confidential, within the standard legal and safeguarding limits which I’ll explain clearly in our first session.

I ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; otherwise, the full fee is payable. Life happens – if something unexpected comes up, let me know and we’ll do our best.

If you have access needs, language preferences, or faith/cultural considerations you’d like me to hold in mind, please tell me. Your whole self is welcome.

Taking the first step is hard, I honestly get it.

But so is staying stuck and feeling alone with it all. Why not book a free connection call to explore working together…
